Greetings and welcome to my site. My name is Rebecca and I hope to be of service to you and your pet. I am an experienced dog walker, licensed and insuredand, and I have been taking care of animals for many years. I believe it is a necessity for animals to have a good exercise routine and daily care to be happy and healthy both physically and psychologically, however with today's economy many owners are finding they need to work longer hours and are keeping busier schedules. As a result it is becoming harder for many people to find time to accommodate their pet's needs by themselves.
A lack of physical and mental stimulation is
often the root of many dog health problems such as arthritis, obesity, lack of appetite, obsessive behavior
etc. Dogs that go without enough exercise can become hard to manage as they try to find ways, (often undesired or even destructive), to unleash their pent up energy. They may become hyperactive, constant barkers, nippy, and unable to listen or pay attention to what you are trying to tell or teach them. Some dogs might even start tearing your furniture up in a desperate attempt to relieve their stress. These are not healthy dog behaviors but can often be remedied by a daily exercise routine and some guidance. Many people with hyper dogs notice a change within the first
few sessions of structured walks and activities, usually saying their dogs are
calmer, more focused and "les crazy" in the house and on the leash. Dogs will learn basic walking manners as needed; this
will include your participation in learning the right dog walking techniques.
My goal is to offer quality care for your pets at a rate you can afford. A personalized plan and method of care that you are comfortable with will be developed to best suit you and your pet's needs whether they be dog, cat, bird or bigfoot. A pet sitter is a great way to put your mind at ease knowing your pet is safe and content while you're away. Many companies act as a middle man to contract pet sitters out to pet owners. This adds unnecessary expense to you, the customer. I am passionate about caring for animals and attentive towards their needs and health.
